Hello everyone. My name is Cherise and I'm from South Africa. I graduated from University, furthered my studies in obtaining my second degree and currently I am busy with my Master's Degree.
I'm hard working, self motivated and adventurous. Therefore, my decision to move to China to teach children English. I have worked with children in all sorts of environments, but the most enjoyable thus far was seeing them in a classroom, dancing, laughing and having fun!
There is no greater joy than seeing a student having fun, when only 2 months ago he/she didn't even want to speak up in class.
I have been teaching English as a second language for more than a year now and there was and is not one day that goes by that it does not bring me happiness.
I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. I used to think that I am making a big difference in their lives, but in actual fact it is my students that are making a big difference in my life!
